Frequently Asked Questions
1.HOW DOES TATTOO NUMBING CREAM WORK?
Tattoo numbing cream and spray work together to provide a pain-free tattoo experience. The cream is applied first to desensitize the skin surface, effectively blocking pain signals from reaching the brain for up to 3-4 hours. Once the cream takes effect, the numbing spray can be used to enhance the pain relief, ensuring complete comfort throughout the procedure.
2.WHAT ELSE CAN TATTOO NUMBING CREAM BE USED FOR?
Our signature tattoo numbing cream and spray are widely chosen to minimize discomfort during tattooing, but their uses extend far beyond that. Safe for application anywhere on the body, the products are also ideal for a variety of other procedures, such as:
semi-permanent makeup, laser hair removal, waxing,
injections, blood draws, vaccinations, lip fillers, permanent cosmetics, piercings, and other cosmetic skin treatments. With the ability to numb any area of the skin, the potential applications are nearly limitless.
3.HOW LONG DOES TATTOO NUMBING CREAM AND SPRAY LAST?
The numbing effects of the cream typically last between 3 to 4 hours. After this period, the numbness will gradually fade, and normal skin sensitivity will return. For best results, apply the cream 30 to 60 minutes before your tattoo session to ensure maximum effectiveness.
Timing is key-applying too early may cause it to wear off during the session, while applying too late might not allow enough time for it to take full effect. lf your artist requires setup time, consider bringing the numbing cream with you so you can apply it at the optimal moment.
Additionally, the numbing spray can be used even on broken skin and offers effective pain relief for
approximately 60 to 90 minutes, sometimes longer.
4.WHAT PARTS OF THE BODY CAN TATTOO NUMBING CREAM BE USED FOR?
Some of the most sensitive spots for tattoos include:
the armpits, ribcage, ankles, shins, nipples and breast area, groin, elbows, kneecaps, behind the knees, hips, neck, spine, head, face, ears, lips, hands, fingers, feet, toes, stomach, and inner bicep.
Tattoos tend to be particularly painful in these regions since they often have little cushioning over bones or thinner skin, which heightens sensitivity.
5.ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS TO USING TATTOO NUMBING CREAM?
As with any new product applied to the skin, tattoo
numbing cream and spray may cause minor side effects, though not everyone experiences them. It's not unusual to notice mild and temporary reactions where the product is applied-such as paleness, redness, slight swelling, or a brief sensation of burning or itching. These typically fade quickly.
If any persistent or unusual symptoms occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor or pharmacist promptly. Those with known skin sensitivity are advised to perform a patch test first. Note that mild localized redness can be a normal reaction.
If you have VERY sensitive skin or existing allergies, please evaluate whether this product is suitable for you.
6.DO YOU WASH OFF NUMBING CREAM?
The recommended application time for our numbing cream is 90 minutes. After this period, it should be removed. This allows the formula to achieve peak effectiveness while ensuring it does not obstruct the tattooing process.
7.DO TATTOO ARTISTS USE TATTOO NUMBING CREAM & NUMBING SPRAY?
Whether to use numbing products is largely a matter of personal choice. Some tattoo artists may not offer them due to the additional expense or a belief that enduring pain is part of the traditional tattoo experience.
However, artists who do provide numbing cream and spray often receive more positive feedback from clients, thanks to the more comfortable process. Additionally, by
preventing clients from flinching or moving due to pain, these products may even contribute to a higher quality tattoo outcome.
8.WHAT IS THE STRONGEST TATTOO NUMBING CREAM & NUMBING SPRAY?
